The Farmer on the Moon #2
I am really enjoying the book Growing a Farmer by Kurt Timmermister because the tone the book is written in makes you want to continue to read about how Timmermister went about solving the next problem that arose. I liked how as the book progressed on and Timmermister started to become more experienced he continues to push himself to try new things on his farm that seems to place him in a whole new category of inexperience. The book really makes you feel like even if you don't do something as drastic as Timmermister you can still try something new and be ok with the lack of knowledge you might have in that field.
When Timmermister writes that he is going to try his hand at beekeeping after his subpar year as an active participant in the farmers market i thought he was crazy. Timmermister continues to put full efforts in the trial and errors of every new venture he starts from the market to bees to cows and cheese the carefree tone Timmermister writes in gives you insight to what kind of guy he is. Growing a Farmer is continuing to be a great read and good example of writing in a talking tone.
