Moon Road #1

If i was to literally judge a book by its cover, Gloria Steinem's book My Life on the Road strikes me as a possible journey of growth, family, and travel. As i begin to read through the book i see aspects that I did not anticipate, such as, adventure and activism. Stienem's life is immediately on the movie from the beginning of the book as she lays out what i perceive as an unstable childhood.

As she introduces her family and speak about her fathers hustler mentality and the hoops her sister and she has to go thru to make their unstable situation work. It is hard a t first for me to perceive how moving constantly and having no real sense of home could be an ideal situation. However through Steinem story telling you can start to get an idea of where her idea of comfort and stability play a factor in he constantly changing life on the road.

I am excited to see how Gloria's life continues to play out and how she develops into her activism.
